The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In outstretched columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
