Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
