The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
