So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
