It shall be no offense for you to divorce your wives as long as you have not touched them or obligated a right for them. It is no sin for the relatives of the deceased to permit the widows to leave the house before the appointed time and do what is reasonable. God is Majestic and Wise. 240 For divorced women a provision in kindness: a duty for those who ward off (evil). 241 Allah thus makes clear to you His communications that you may understand. 242
