The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
