▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty of death had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
