1/2 Hizb 54

۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 If he is among the near 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
