The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
