1/4 Hizb 45
< random >
The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say:) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!" 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 So this day no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and you shall not be rewarded aught but that which you did. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their companions will recline on couches in the shade. 56 They shall have fruits therein, and they shall have whatever they desire. 57 "Peace!" shall be the greeting from the Merciful Lord. 58 "But stand aside today, O you who were lost in sin! 59 ۞ Did I not enjoin you, sons of Adam, not to worship Satan -- for he is your sworn enemy, 60 and that you should worship Me [alone]? This would have been a straight way! 61 And yet assuredly he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Wherefore reflect ye not? 62 Now this is the Hell of which you were warned. 63 Roast well therein this Day for you were unbelievers' 64 We shall seal your mouths on that Day, let your hands speak to us and your feet testify to what you had achieved. 65 If We so willed, We would have put out their eyes, then they would rush to see the Way, but how would they be able to see? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
