Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 and produce sparks 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
