When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we then be raised again? 47 "(We) and our fathers of old?" 48 Say, "Indeed, the earlier ones and the later ones 49 shall be gathered together to the appointed time on a known Day' 50 Then you people who had gone astray and rejected the Truth 51 Most surely eat of a tree of Zaqqoom, 52 and you shall fill therewith your bellies 53 And upon it, you will drink the hot boiling water. 54 Drinking even as the camel drinketh. 55 That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense! 56 We created you. Will ye then admit the truth? 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 from changing the nature of your existence and bringing you into being [anew] in a manner [as yet] unknown to you. 61 You have known the first growth; so why will you not remember? 62 Have ye seen that which ye cultivate? 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 If We willed, surely We would make it chaff, so that ye would be left wondering. 65 crying, "We have been left to suffer loss. 66 "Nay, but we are deprived!" 67 See ye the water which ye drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to come down from the clouds - or are We the cause of its coming down? 69 Did We will, We would make it bitter; so why are you not thankful? 70 And have you seen the fire that you ignite? 71 Have you raised its tree, or We have raised it? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 74
