The disbelievers say, "Do not listen to this Quran but make a lot of unnecessary noise while it is being read so that perhaps you will defeat it". 26 Wherefore We will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe torment, and We will surely requite them the worst of that which they have been working. 27 The recompense of the enemies of God for their rejection of Our revelations will be fire as their eternal dwelling. 28 And the disbelievers said, “Our Lord! Show us both – among jinns and men – who misled us, for us to put them beneath our feet so that they be the lowest of the low.” 29 As for those who affirm, "Our Lord is God," and then remain steadfast, the angels will descend on them, saying, "Have no fear and do not grieve. Rejoice in the [good news of the] Garden that you have been promised. 30 "We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask for. 31 A gift of welcome from One Forgiving, Merciful. 32
