۞ When the son of Mary is mentioned as an example, your people turn away from it 57 And they say, “Are our deities better or he?” They did not say this to you except to unjustly argue; in fact they are a quarrelsome people. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other. 60 He is a sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it. But follow me. This is a straight path; 61 Let satan not prevent you from the right path. He is your sworn enemy". 62 When Jesus came with the signs, he said: "I have come to you with authority, and to explain some thing about which you are at variance. So fear God, and follow me. 63 Allah is my Lord and your Lord; therefore, serve Him. That is the Straight Way.” 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not? 66 On that Day, [erstwhile] friends will be foes unto one another - [all] save the God-conscious. 67
