But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot.
