And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
