THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night.
