The tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
