Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(O Prophet), surely We have granted you a clear victory 1 that Allah forgives your past and future sins, and completes His Favor to you, and guides you on a Straight Path, 2 And so that Allah may provide you a great help. 3 It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith;- for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom;- 4 and that He may admit the believers, men and women alike, into gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to dwell forever, and acquit them of their evil deeds; that is in God's sight a mighty triumph; 5 And that He may punish the Munafiqun (hypocrites), men and women, and also the Mushrikun men and women, who think evil thoughts about Allah, for them is a disgraceful torment, and the Anger of Allah is upon them, and He has cursed them and prepared Hell for them, and worst indeed is that destination. 6 For, God's are all the forces of the heavens and the earth; and God is indeed almighty, truly wise! 7 We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, and as a Warner: 8 so that you (people) may believe in God and His Messenger, help, and respect God and glorify Him in the morning and the evening. 9 Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah is above their hands. Therefore whoever breaks (his faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward. 10
