۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
