۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
