The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
