The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not utterly confound their artful planning? 2 And send down (to prey) upon them birds in flocks, 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
