1/2 Hizb 45

۞ [And God will thus command:] "Assemble all those who were bent on evildoing, together with others of their ilk and [with] all that they were wont to worship 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]." 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 “So are we never to die?” (The people of Paradise will ask the angels, with delight, after the announcement of everlasting life.) 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 Indeed they found their fathers astray. 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 except for God's sincere servants. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
