Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
