The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
