The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 and by those who regulate events. 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 And thereupon he [went to Pharaoh and] made him aware of the great wonder [of God's grace]. 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 you pay attention 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
