Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
