Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
