Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 they shall burn in a Scorching Fire; 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 In a Garden on high, 10 Wherein you shall not hear vain talk. 11 with a flowing spring, 12 and couches raised high, 13 and goblets laid out, 14 And cushions ranged 15 And carpets spread around. 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 Thou art not over them a warden. 22 However, those who turn away and disbelieve, 23 God will punish them with the greatest torment. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
