Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
