The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
