▼ 64 Mutual Blaming
Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2
NO CALAMITY can ever befall [man] unless it be by God's leave: hence, whoever believes in God guides his [own] heart [towards this truth]; and God has full knowledge of everything. 11 Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away from obedience, (then know that) Our Messenger has no other duty than to clearly convey the Truth. 12 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. In Allah, therefore, let believers put their trust. 13 O YOU who have attained to faith! Behold, some of your spouses and your children are enemies unto you: so beware of them! But if you pardon [their faults] and forbear, and forgive - then, behold, God will be much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. 14 Your wealth and children are but a trial, and with Allah is a mighty wage. 15 So fear God as much as you can, and listen and obey, and spend in charity for your own good. He who is saved from his own avarice will be successful. 16 If you lend a goodly loan to God, He will double it for you, and forgive you. God knows the worth of good deeds and is clement, 17 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Wise. 18
True are the words of God the Almighty.
