And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
