And recall when the hypocrites and those whose hearts were diseased said: 'Their faith has deluded these (believers)'. But he who puts his trust in Allah shall find Allah All-Mighty, All-Wise. 49 Would that you could have seen the angels taking the souls of the unbelievers away from their bodies and smiting their faces and their backs saying, "Suffer the burning torment. 50 in return for what your own hands have wrought - for, never does God do the least wrong to His creatures!" 51 (Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they disbelieved the revelations of Allah, and Allah took them in their sins. Lo! Allah is Strong, severe in punishment. 52 This happened because Allah is not one to change the favour which He has bestowed upon a people until they have changed their attitude. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 53 This was the case with the people of Pharaoh and those before them, who rejected the signs of their Lord and were destroyed for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh as they were oppressors. 54 Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe - 55 who make promises but break them every time, and who have no piety. 56 If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember. 57 If you fear treachery from any of your allies, you can dissolve with them equally. Allah does not love the treacherous. 58
