Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 Into boiling water, then in the fire shall they be burned; 72 It will then be asked of them: 'Where are those whom you associated, 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78
