To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! 27 And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 This Our Record speaks about you with truth. Verily, We were recording what you used to do (i.e. Our angels used to record your deeds). 29 As for those who believe and act righteously, their Lord shall admit them to His Mercy. That indeed is the manifest triumph. 30 But as for those who were bent on denying the truth, [they will be told:] "Were not My messages conveyed to you? And withal, you gloried in your arrogance, and so you became people lost in sin: 31 When it was said: 'The promise of Allah is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt' you replied: 'We do not know what the Hour is, we guess, assuming, and we are by no means certain' 32 And [on that Day,] the evil of their doings will become obvious to them, and they will be overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride. 33 And it shall be said, 'Today We do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. 34 That is because you took the verses of Allah (the Koran) in mockery, and you were deluded by your worldly life' So that Day they will not be brought out of it; nor shall they be repentant. 35 So all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the whole Universe. 36 His is the supremacy in the heavens and the earth; and He is the all-mighty and all-wise. 37
