Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? You are not bound to tell them. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
