The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of later ages, 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and flowing water 31 And abundant fruit, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
