Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 who will not believe in it, until they see the painful chastisement 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Do you not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley, 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
