Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
