The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
