And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
