۞ If a wrong-doer had all that is in the earth he would surely offer it to ransom himself. When the wrong-doers perceive the chastisement, they will feel intense remorse in their hearts. But a judgement shall be made with full justice about them. They shall not be wronged. 54 All that is in the heavens and the earth certainly belongs to God and His promise is true, but many people do not know this. 55 He giveth life and causeth to die, and unto Him ye shall be returned. 56 O mankind! The advice has come to you from your Lord and a cure for the hearts – and guidance and mercy for believers. 57 Say, “Upon Allah’s munificence and upon His mercy – upon these should the people rejoice”; that is better than all their wealth and possessions. 58 Say, "Have you considered the provision God has sent down for you, and have you made some of it unlawful and some lawful?" Say, "Has God given you permission [to do this], or are you inventing falsehoods about God?" 59 What will they think, those who invent falsehoods about God, on the Day of Resurrection? God is bountiful to men: yet most of them are not grateful. 60
