She said, "I am surely a barren, old woman." 29 They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." 30 ۞ He said: "What is then your business, O messengers?" 31 They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); 32 so that we bring down stones of clay upon them 33 marked by your Lord for the sinful' 34 So We brought the believers out of that they were in. 35 But We found in it only one household of those who had surrendered themselves, 36 And We left behind therein a portent for those who fear a painful doom. 37 And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, 38 In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 39 So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy. 40 And in Aad. We let loose on them a withering wind 41 It did not leave aught on which it blew, but it made it like ashes. 42 And in Samood: When it was said to them: Enjoy yourselves for a while. 43 But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the rumbling overtook them while they saw. 44 And they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. 45 And the people of Nuh We destroyed aforetime; verily they were a people transgressing. 46
