Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
