The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
