Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
