Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 lntercession with Him profiteth not save the intercession of him whom He giveth leave. They hold their peace until when fright is taken off from their hearts, they say: What is it that your Lord hath said? They say: the very truth. And He is the Exalted, the Great. 23 ۞ Ask them, (O Prophet): “Who provides you sustenance from the heavens and the earth?” Say: “Allah. Now, inevitably only one of us is rightly guided, either we or you; and the other is in manifest error.” 24 Say thou: ye will not be questioned about that which we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about that which ye work. 25 Say thou: our Lord shall assemble us together, then He shall judge between us with truth; and He is the Great Judge, the Knower. 26 Say: "Just show me those you associate with Him as compeers." No, (you cannot), for He is God, the all-mighty and all-wise." 27 And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know. 28 They say: "When will this promise (come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?" 29 Say: You have the appointment of a day from which you cannot hold back any while, nor can you bring it on. 30
