Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
